Our Work

Reaching Everyone Forever

Reaching Everyone Forever in a district means reaching every household, community, school, and clinic with safe and reliable water services on a sustainable basis.

Our focus has been on increasing services levels through the construction of piped water supply systems. These systems have high initial capital investment costs, but they bring water closer to the premises of a household which is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) targets. Other communities have benefited from the rehabilitation of wells as well as rainwater harvesting tanks.

Funding for the capital expenditures has come from the government, Water For People donors, and the community. Everyone contributes in the Everyone Forever model if it is to be successful.

Ensuring sustainability (Forever) of the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services includes embracing the systems strengthening thinking. This is anchored on working with, and building capacity of, existing structures at the village, subcounty, district, regional, and national level to ensure the entire systems chain/components are working in unison.
